Within the scope of its mandate and objectives, the Human Rights Unit of the OSCE Office in Yerevan supports the implementation of OSCE Human Dimension Commitments by national stakeholders. Particularly, in accordance with the Vienna Document (1989), the participating States affirmed their commitment to ensure that all individuals in detention or incarceration will be treated with humanity and with respect for the inherent dignity of the human person.

The OSCE Office in Yerevan wishes to raise public awareness on the penal reforms running in Armenia and particularly bring the attention of responsible state agencies to the significance of rehabilitation schemes in penal institutions. This will enable to reinforce the protection of the rights of prisoners and contribute to crime prevention.

In this regard the OSCE Office in Yerevan invites highly qualified, experienced professionals to perform services of an Artwork / Exhibition Expert for the Human Rights Unit. The employment is limited to 1 month of service.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The chosen Artwork / Exhibition Expert will be responsible for preparation of an exhibition/art works by December 1, 2014. The exhibition must combine Artwork / Exhibition Expert’s installation and art works of prisoners. Co-operation between the Artwork / Exhibition Expert and prisoners is expected in the preparation phase of the exhibition. The installation must be held in one of the penitentiary institutions of Armenia.

Prepared exhibition corresponding to the quality standards:

Involvement of prisoners in the process of art creation on specified topics: imprisonment, and Human Rights;

Prepares art works and own installation depicting topics of life in the prison, rehabilitation and return to law-abiding life by December 1, 2014;

Exhibition/vernissage on 10 December 2014 in one of the penitentiary institutions in Armenia.

Deliverables:

To co-operate with the prisoners for the period of 2-3 weeks on the matter of artworks preparation for the Exhibition;

Prepare installation and artworks by December 1, 2014;

Present works of prisoners and own installation at the exhibition starting December 10, 2014, in one of the penitentiary institutions in Armenia.

The Expert will work from home.

Necessary Qualifications

University degree in Fine Arts;

at least 10 years of professional experience as an artist;

at least 5 public exhibitions in Armenia or elsewhere;

experience in exhibitions dedicated to human rights protection and/or prison problematic would be a great advantage;

proven knowledge of contemporary art and prison art;

good communication skills;

knowledge of Armenian language, knowledge of English would be an advantage.

Remuneration Package

As full remuneration for services performed by the Expert, the Office will pay the professional lump sum of EUR 700.00 for one month of service.

The payment will be performed in AMD at the applicable OSCE rate on the day of payment as well as upon receipt of invoice and certification of the Programme Manager that the services have been successfully performed.

Description

Dulverton Trust is inviting application for scholarships for graduate Students. The Dulverton Scholarships funds are open for the students from Central or Eastern Europe to study for one-year, full-time master’s courses in any subject. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. This scholarship is available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Oxford in UK. The Dulverton Scholarships fund students from Central or Eastern Europe to study for one-year, full-time master’s courses in any subject. The scholarships are funded by the Dulverton Trust, which is an independent, charitable, grant-making organisation established by in 1949 by the first Lord Dulverton. The Dulverton Trust also funds the Michael Wills Scholarships at Oxford and trustees include members of the founder’s family and a number of other distinguished individuals with wide experience of the areas and activities supported by the Trust. Since its foundation, the Dulverton Trust has made grants totalling over £85 million, which have provided much-needed support to thousands of charities.

Eligibility

The students of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, FYR of Macedonia, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine can apply for these scholarships.

– Applicants should be applying to start a new one-year master’s course in any subject at Oxford.

-If applicants are resident in an eligible country outside of the EEA (European Economic Area), you should be intending to return to your country of ordinary residence once your course is completed.

-Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and priority will be given to applicants who have not previously studied in the US or UK.

-Please ensure that applicant meet the selection criteria for your course. This scholarship is not open to candidates applying for part-time courses or non-matriculated courses. This scholarship is also not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2015-16.

Scholarship

Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course. The scholarship will cover 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £12,900).

Application

The application deadline is 9 or 23 January 2015, depending on course.

There is no separate application process for this scholarship: in order to be considered, you must submit your application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for your course (9 January 2015 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 23 January 2015 for all other subjects).

сегодня хочу поделиться с вами информацией об очень классном проекте, который может помочь женщинам, решившим создать "почву под ногами", делающим в этом направлении первые шаги. Организация HERA - “Her Equality, Rights and Autonomy” (http://www.enterprisingspirit.org), проводит международный конкурс на получение гранта для развития своего бизнеса для женщин из следующих стран:

Армении,

Грузии,

Молдове,

Румынии,

Украине.

На пять стран будет выделено 25 грантов в среднем по €700 (размер гранта варьируется от €200 до €1500). Подача заявок на конкурс заканчивается 1 мая 2015 г.

У нас в фирме часто появляется много работы, которую выполняют люди на аутсорсе. Это работа в экселе, обработка статистик, пополнение и актуализация баз данных итд. 

Я подумал, реально ли организовать, чтобы такого рода работу выполняли на аутсорсе люди из Армении? И если в среднем будет выходить 2-2,2 евро в час то это нормальные деньги или так себе для Армении?

задолбаешься контролировать работу

и по экселю не понятно. очень большая разница в скорости работы разных людей в эксел, более 100 раз.

В среднем выходит 2-2,2 в час, но я не плачу за час работы, а от произведённой работы. Работа повторяемая и приблизительно всего 6-7 операций делают люди, потому я понимаю сколько надо платить и более менее сколько это займёт времени человеку со знанием эксель средний-средний минус. У нас сейчас это всё на аутсорсе, но это поляки делают.

На самом деле я занизил до 2 евро, но люди которые умеют быстро и эффективно работать вытягивают и 3,5 евро в час. Ну понятное дело должен быть резон, почему надо перенести такой аутсорс в Армению, потому думаю потолок будет 2,8 евро.

А вопрос такой, где можно найти такого типа людей?
