Same sex marriage? Right or wrong?

Miss Mortis, I have my personal opinion and attitude towards homosexuality. It is based on my personal thoughts, experience and ethical and esthetical principles. It must be respected in the same way, as homosexuality. I don't have to like them and vice versa. I am respecting their choice, unless they out of my personal territory. I can have good human relations with them, unless they are showing or discussing their personal sexual life with me and on my personal territory. That's it.

Monica, это ты понимаешь что подобное поведение достаточно вызывающе...однако современные девушки не всегда это понимают и даже знают...едят, облизавая пальцы и губы (это норма почти для 90%), сидят растопырив ноги или положив ногу на ногу на мужской манер, про сидение на улице по-турецки и "ношение" нижнего белья вообще молчу. Получается все они напрашиваются?

а вообще не должно быть двойных стандартов в вопросе домогательств - раз без взаимного согласия, то домогательство, а вопрос о сексуальных предпочтениях в данных случаях должен быть вторичным

By the way, because this topic on the argument of Gay Marriage, I have another argument:

People say that gay couples will teach their children to be gay, however, I have a friend. He lives with his father and his father's boyfriend. His father had a surrogate mother. My friend is into girls, and girls only. In fact he likes one of my female acquaintances... and he is just like a normal kid. So him living with a gay couple changes absolutely nothing. Why should his father not be able to marry his boyfriend if their child is perfectly normal? In fact I have another friend who lives with his lesbian mother and girlfriend. He's completely normal. Why should they not be able to marry? What is the reason? I mean.. YOU are not getting married to the same sex... gay people are. Why do you care if two adults want to get married?

No one is making the CHURCH marry them. The church is for religious people and the church has tradition, however, the GOVERNMENT should treat everyone equally. If you say Gays can't get married to each other, are you going to start saying that they can't be together at all? Then are you going to start saying that they can't be gay?

Just because something is a tradition does not mean it has to be kept. Piracy, for example is a tradition carried on for hundreds of years. That does not mean we have to sail the seas, attacking ships and steal their gold.

Burning people that people blamed of witchcraft was a tradition carried on for hundreds of years... do we do that now? No we do not.

By the way people who are against gay marriage treat this as if the whole world is doomed to not repopulate ever again. Um... for one thing... you don't just TURN gay. I mean you can ACT gay but that doesn't make you gay. You are who you are. For another, getting married is just like forming a special bond besides, then there is the whole inheritance law and all the privileges that come with marriage. Why should gay couples not have those privileges? I mean I might be repeating this again but yeah.... I just want this answered. Why should gay people not have the privileges of marriage?

domestic violence protection orders;

judicial protections and evidentiary immunity

Why should gay couples not have those rights? Are they not humans? There ARE more benefits than this too.

By the way people who say: Gay people should just get married to the opposite gender... I ask you this: WHY would you marry someone you are not attracted to?? Why would you get married to someone you don't love? Why would you deprive yourself of happiness?
