16 of August 1845 - Takhiadyan starts to publish the "Patriot" weekly in Calculta. In 1848 it is renamed the "Patriot of Ararat". It ceased publication in 1852. 1991 - The armed women of the "Parandzem" detachment forced the surrender of 43 Soviet Army soldiers during hostilities in Haterk (Artsakh).
