Useful Information About Turkey

1 (12-pound) turkey

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, sliced

1/2 cup vegetable oil

4 cloves large garlic, crushed

1 teaspoon ground allspice

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1. Preheat oven 350°F.

2. Clean and rinse out turkey cavity and pat dry. Place turkey in a roasting pan. Carefully lift skin over breasts, thighs and drumsticks and insert butter. Rub oil and crushed garlic cloves over turkey, then sprinkle with allspice and seasoned salt. Tie or skewer legs together to hold shape during cooking. Cover with aluminum foil.

3. Bake for 4 hours, or about 20 minutes per pound. Meat thermometer should read 180°F. when inserted into the thickest portion of the breast away from the bone. Remove foil during last 30 minutes of cooking, baste with pan juices and brown skin.

Makes 12 servings.

Twas a fun night in Armenia which featured a Swiss vegetable named Lys Assia performing in a show that ended up selecting a song about fruit. They should have brought in the Dutch nut and made a nice buffet.

Apricot Stone is performed by local beauty Eva Rivas, and it tells the tale of a grandmother giving a child an apricot and the stone reminds her of the motherland so she decides to go to Oslo.

The apricot (Prunus armeniaca) is a species of prune, native to the Caucasus but cultivated all over southern Europe, North Africa and southern Asia. It produces edible, orange fruit.

Ну так эти же букмейкеры ставили Азербайджан в 5-ке даже когда песня еще не была известна, поэтому думаю правильные ставки пойдут к концу апреля, если и тогда такое же распределение будет, то молодцы...->шведы... :icecream:
