Gagik Beglaryan's bold "dream"
2013-01-17 23:48:26
With RA Minister of Transport and Communication Gagik Beglaryan's initiative a new business starts. The Government of Armenia has decided to lease the property for 35 years at 18 Mikoyan MED A.KGmbH company to manufacture buses.
As of our sources the initiative belongs to the Minister of Communications and Transport. According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, in reality, an Indian company is to organize the production of buses.
A MED A.KGmbH, most likely, is its representative in Germany. For 7 years, it must invest in Armenia 7 million dollars in bus production of low and medium capacity. Tools and equipment will be imported to Armenia from India.
While presenting the issue, the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan did not even look at the head of the State Property of the Government of the Republic of Armenia Arman Sahakyan, giving a glance at Beglaryan; he turned to the real addressee.
Of course, this is not the first nor the last initiative of Gagik Beglaryan. Beglaryan has extensive experience in business and over the years he has undertaken many initiatives and businesses that were mostly quite productive. However, production of buses differs; this is the case where the business is dictated by his position.
Now Beglaryan is the Minister of Communications and Transport and, apparently, in-depth study of more than the poor state of transport generated such a plan.
According to our sources, Beglaryan's such an initiative has made a smirk: top representatives see this initiative as a kind of "quixotic" and do not believe that Armenia may make something, even a bicycle. However, it has become Beglaryan's matter of honor, said that he and the President of the Republic of Armenia assured that Armenia would necessarily have own buses.
Many, of course, again, can not trust the approach to this issue and say that the initiative is from a number of incredible, but the fact that Beglaryan obtained once more incredible things, there is still hope that this bold "dream" would realized.
And the fact that the tip, even though late, but, in fact, began to recognize that the formation of the state is the local production, in fact, not loud speeches, and that the future of Armenia is the case, and not in the final transformation into a "banana" republic, still probably not lost.
So, at least in this case we should only welcome this initiative, even apart from the fact that for the next business is once again a top official, unless Beglaryan can protect his "honor" and prove that he is really an ambitious man and brings the matter to an end.
