Well first off: it wasn't 400 years ago because a potato is from America and Columbus barely sailed to it a little over 500 years ago. It took over a hundred more years for the colonists to come and colonize it in 1620 (The mayflower) and columbus sailed at 1492... 1592 is a hundred years later which makes a little over 400 years ago and finally 1620. Which is like a little under 400 years ago. The colonists thought that the potato was poisonous... so they didn't start experimenting with it until they knew that it wasn't... but only for food. Soooo no it was not 400 years ago. I win

The bible is teaching to be ignorant and people actually believe in it. I mean I understand about 3000 years ago... but now?? I don't follow the bible.. but when I ask people why they do certain hateful things they say: Because the bible said so. I'm not the one reading the bible like instructions: these other people are. Also, Christians pushing their religion on me and Missionaries coming to my door made me despise the bible even more. Sometimes even defile Christianity and reverse it. Once I questioned God, everyone said: You are going to hell because you aren't "proper christian". That made me mad. People thinking that everyone who is not christian is going to hell... that's just sad.
