JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Editor-In-Chief. This is a senior position that oversees the entire written-content management operation of an online music distribution / management project, RawRip. The job requires project management experience, preferably in online music, arts and/or on-line publishing fields. The job requires high fluency, training and experience in English language, grammar, and analytical writing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reviewing, proofing, correcting and approving all types of content prior to being uploaded on the website. Content will include music related news articles and reviews.

- High attention paid to use of English language, including sentence construction, grammar, spelling, and analytical presentation.

- High level ability to manage a team of 10 content writers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The position of Editor-in-Chief requires an advanced degree in English or an advance degree acquired at a university where English is the taught language; at least 5 years work experience; high degree of diligence, consummate editing and writing skills and the ability to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing writers in a fast-paced online environment and have interests or expertise in a variety of music genres.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of Artist and Content Managers for RawRip.com, an upcoming music distributor and artist management website. The Managers will be important participants in creating and managing content. Each manager will be given one or two music genres. Based on the genres, they will write news and reviews on the music industry current affairs and RawRip Artists. Most importantly, they will play a crucial role in deciding what music should be kept uploaded on the website.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

All daily tasks will be carried out in English

Each Manager will be assigned 1 or 2 specific genres of their expertise

Daily listening and deciding whether certain list of songs should be deleted or approved for use on the website

Daily checks of related music websites and collecting of news items to generate innovative and original RawRip news articles to be posted on the website

Write daily reviews on RawRip Artists of your choice, Top50 winners, and Newly Updated Songs

Keep the Customer engaged and entertained

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Fluent in English, reading and writing

Ability to write critical and analytical reviews, news and essays

Good knowledge of American English, grammar and genre-specific lingo

Expertise in using all features of Frame Maker is crucial

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Web-Works Publisher, Acrobat Writer, Photoshop, etc.

Stamina to perform at peak level and ability to concentrate for long periods of time

Self-confidence, motivation, dedication and determination

Flair for entertainment, love of music and related music-cultures

Previous background, interest, and keen knowledge in specific music genres - Please specify on CV

Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Experience Required

University degree

Excellent oral and writing skills in Armenian, Russian and English.

Good working knowledge of computer applications (MS Windows, MS Office, graphics and spreadsheet software packages).

Working experience in similar position. Previous working experience in international organizations is strongly desirable.

The U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia is seeking an individual for the position of a Program Assistant (ODC/BAO in the Office of Defense Cooperation.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

Serves as Program Assistant in support of the United States European Command (USEUCOM) military-to-military (mil-to-mil) Program. Coordinates and facilitates execution of Joint Contact Team Program (JCTP) and State Partnership Program (SPP) events. Serves as driver and interpreter in support of section and office events. Responsible for coordination and set-up of briefing areas, preparation of materials, and logistical support to visiting Traveling Contact Teams (TCTs). Provides support to other Office of Defense Cooperation ( ODC) programs as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

- University degree required.

DEFINITIONS
